About Melanie

Melanie was first made aware of alternative therapies to improve a person’s wellbeing on a physical, emotional and spiritual level when she worked in a well-established five-star luxury health and beauty hotel in Italy.
After moving to Ireland in 2005, she started working in a family owned perfumery in the west of Ireland, learning about the nature of aromatherapy and the use of organic essential oils and how to create luxury handmade organic essences, perfumes, creams, ointments and soaps.
The love for alternative therapies grew over the years and Melanie trained as a massage therapist and gained ITEC (International Therapy Examination Council) diplomas in reflexology, hot stone therapy, holistic (swedish) massage and sports massage as well as certificates in deep tissue, neuromuscular and trigger point therapy.
Melanie worked as a therapist in her studio from home and part-time in a well-established yoga centre in Co. Clare.
Alternative therapies have become not only Melanie’s work, but her passion. She is continuing her education with regular courses as she strongly believes in lifelong learning to deepen her skills and thus to be of greater benefit to her clients.
Recently she qualified as a beauty therapist and reiki practitioner.
Melanie generally focuses upon but is not limited to: Reflexology, deep tissue massage, swedish massage, hot stone massage and sports massage.
